Regular Season Finish
We finished the regular season at 12-9, one of our best finishes ever. This seeds us second place in the playoffs against the 7th place team, UCant Parkhere.
NOTE CORRECTION!
Our best of 3 series with UCant Parkhere is tied 1-1. After giving up a 2-run lead to lose Game 1 15-14 in extra innings, the Swingers came together and pulled out a come-from-behind win of our own. Trailing 7-4 heading into the top of the 7th inning in Game 2, we scored 5 runs to take a 9-7 lead and hold on for a 9-8 victory to even up the series.
The third and final game is this Friday at <<7:00 pm>> on Diamond 4. Winner advances to the next round, loser starts looking at winter sports.
Playoffs - Possible Round 2 Dates
If we win on Friday night and advance to the second round, our first two games will be held starting this weekend. Game 1 of the second round for us would be on Sunday, August 20 at 8:30 pm on Diamond 1 (home game) and Game 2 would be on Tuesday, August 22 at 7:00 pm on Diamond 4 (away game).
